In 2019, a Japanese couple traveled to Taiwan to seek treatment from Dr. Hung Chi Chang at the Hongyi Fertility Clinic for in vitro fertilization, and received donated sperm. Due to the pandemic, they had to wait for three years before receiving the implantation, which eventually led to a successful pregnancy.
