I am a 36-years-old, primary school teacher in Taipei, and had been infertile for six years since marriage. There were no good news. We had visited many doctors, both in traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, including two

hystosalpingograms, two artificial inseminations, and two traditional test-tube babies, and costed no less than NTD 0.6 million. In the process, we heard the mild-stimulation test-tube therapy of Doctor Chang Hung-Chi, but we did not select him since we lived in the north while Doctor Chang practiced in Taichung at that time.
After the second traditional test-tube baby failed, I felt my physical condition got worse than before, unable to breathe at sometime, so we came back to the traditional Chinese medicine, to rest the body temporarily. In addition, considering the factor of the age, I decided to try the test-tube baby again, and coincidentally, Doctor Chang opened the Honji Fertility Center in Taipei. Feeling the arrangement of the gods, I decided to came to Honji Fertility Center for treatment.
First of all, I shall briefly explain my previously process of traditional long-term course of treatment of test-tube: averagely 3 injection per day, respectively the Leuplin, Gonal-F, and Menopur. In the first time, the test-tube got 14 ova, 9 fertilized, and implanted all 4 existed after 5 days, but the result turned to the failure. And in the second time, the test-tube got 14 ova, 9 fertilized, and implanted 4 after 3 days. Till the 5th day, the embryo technician called to tell us there was one alive and shall be frozen. But the second time also failed, and the only one embryo existed was implanted in the next week, which failed again.
After came to Honji Fertility Center, we found something different. In the traditional test-tube treatment, I shall come to the hospital every two days for blood drawing, doctor visiting, and calling the counselor (or waiting for the call of counselor) in the afternoon to ask the dose of the injection of the next day, which influences a lot to my working, but in Honji Fertility Center, there is no worry of this respect. I shall get one injection every second day, and visit the doctor three time in the duration for blood drawing, before the arrangement of ovum retrieval. Besides, the ovum retrieval method of Doctor Chang does not need the anesthesia, and the implantation does not need the full bladder, in which process (5-10 minutes) there is just a little feeling of ache, that is greatly different ti the traditional test-tube ovum retrieval process with long-time, general anesthesia, bleeding after operation, and much pain.
In the first time of treatment in Honji Fertility Center, I just acquired 2 ova, one being the Grade A blastocyst, and the other being Grade B after cultivated for 5 days. After being frozen, there cames the second course of treatment, and 3 ova were gotten this time, 2 blighted ova, and the quality of the rest one not good as the previous two. Thus, we decided to implant the previous two, and it is lucky the 2 embryos implanted successfully, both with heartbeat. However, I think the reason of this success may be the stimulated ovum number is few, and the ova get more nutrition, so the quality is good. Anyway, we shall leave it for the research of experts!
Finally, I want to thank Doctor Chang Hung-Chi again. Thanks for your kindness, hospitality, and encouragement to me; and thank for the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattvas, as well as the endeavor and dedication of all the staffs of Honji Fertility Center.
