過去的傳統不孕症治療,最為人所詬病的便是通常需要注射大量的排卵針劑,不僅造成身體的負擔,也帶給不孕症患者心理上的龐大壓力。事實上,過多的排卵針劑刺激,除了易引發Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS:卵巢過度刺激症候群)外,所得到的卵子品質也是一個大問號。近年來研究發現,過度的排卵針劑及藥物刺激,更有造成卵巢癌及乳癌的風險。自然週期與溫和刺激療法可以說是一種順應人體自然排卵機制的助孕方法。相較於傳統不孕症治療,本療法不需利用藥物過度刺激卵巢來大量增加可抽取的卵子數目,只育成必要的卵子數量,因此不但可減少療程中的藥劑種類與用藥劑量,降低對身體所造成的負擔,經由身體自然篩選出來的少數卵子,在品質方面也較為優良。

近年來,由於社會文化與價值觀的演進,現代女性往往因為工作、學業以及尋找真愛等因素延後結婚生子時機,到3、40歲才開始準備生兒育女,但從女性正常生理機能來看,最佳的黃金生育年齡卻落在23-34歲!伴隨著這樣”生育高齡化”現象而來的往往便是必須面對難孕、不孕甚至是新生兒健康等問題。由於目前並無有效延緩人體器官老化的醫學科技,一旦卵巢功能退化,難以取得健康卵子甚至是瀕臨停經的不排卵情況,即便有再卓越的人工生殖技術,也不免有巧婦難為無米之炊之憾!因此,利用玻璃化快速冷凍方法,讓時間暫停,將健康卵子凍結在黃金時期,做為未來計畫生育之用,為晚孕的新時代女性或是有必須進行特殊醫療需求的女性帶來新”生”機,也提供了未來幸福人生的保障。

2003年紐約大學生殖醫學中心的Dr.Noyes赴義大利訪問了慢速冷凍專家Dr.Porcu後,決心在NYU生殖醫學中心發展人類卵子冷凍技術,便將這個大任交付於當時專任科學家的張宏吉醫師以及來自中國的複製貓熊專家劉輝。然而相較於精子、胚胎冷凍技術已行之有年,當時卵子冷凍仍有難以突破的障礙,使得張宏吉醫師遲遲不敢接受這項請求。面對NYU生殖醫學中心主任Dr.Grifo與Dr.Noyes的再三請託,張宏吉醫師終於下定決定挑戰這項艱難的任務。
在2005年,人類卵子冷凍技術開發的成功案例被報導在美國全國公司電視NBC NEWS TV
並且在2002年至2007年間,連續六年在人類生殖領域的最高權威,美國生殖醫學學會發表了12篇的研究論文報告。

日本國內日報發行量第二名的朝日新聞於2013年以全版面介紹本院。
本院於2014年接受日本TBS頻道「NEWS 23」新聞節目採訪,該節目針對在本院借卵之日本患者進行貼身採訪製作專題報導。
2016年,位於日本廣島報社所發行的報紙「中國新聞」亦大幅報導本院借卵治療成果,一時之間蔚為話題。
2017年登上亞洲第一大報「讀賣新聞」頭條新聞,報導日本人來台灣宏孕診所治療受贈卵子情況。顯現日媒重視日人到台治療情況並大幅報導。

    AMH 指數 (Anti-mullerian Hormone 抗穆氏管荷爾蒙) 是顯示卵巢庫存量,AMH是一個透過抽血去評估卵巢卵子庫存量的方法:AMH指數愈高,表示卵巢的卵子庫存量越多;AMH也是評估卵巢早衰或者多囊性卵巢的指標之一。

    為什麼要做AMH檢查?

    未婚女性檢查AMH

    女性晚婚婚的比例逐年變高,對於逐漸邁入熟女階段的女性來說,可以通過抽血檢測AMH高低,了解自己卵子庫存量,知道自己是不是該考慮提早「凍卵」留住自己年輕時的生育力,即使現在還有沒結婚對象或想法、也可以不再迫於年紀而著急,慢慢找、等想生小孩的時候,再把冷凍的卵子解凍做使用,凍卵可以替您保留住 品質年輕的卵子 及 足夠的卵子數量。

    已婚者檢查AMH

    可以通過抽血檢測AMH高低,給醫師評估自己卵子庫存,來了解

    1.自己卵巢功能有沒有開始下降,需不需要提早來考慮備孕。

    2.或者透過人工生殖技術;試管嬰兒 IVF來 提早進行「胚胎冷凍」保留年輕時的胚胎,留待日後想要小孩的時候再進行植入。

    3.正在自己努力,靠行房卻一直沒有懷孕成功的您,是否應該改變方式,嘗試透過人工生殖技術;試管嬰兒來爭取及早懷孕。

    AMH如何檢查?多久檢查一次AMH

    檢測方式:其實只要透過抽血檢測抗穆勒氏賀爾蒙(AMH),就可以簡單快速了解您目前的卵子庫存量喔!

    血液中 AMH 指數不會隨月經周期有大幅的改變,可以在月經週期的任何一天進行 AMH 檢查

    進入適孕年齡,建議可以每年至來檢查 AMH 數值,追蹤自己的卵子庫存量,掌握自己生小孩的人生規劃。

    AMH的標準?

    AMH :< 2.0 (ng/ml)  AMH : 2.0~≤ 6.8(ng/ml)  AMH: > 6.8 (ng/ml)
    卵巢衰退:卵子庫存漸少 正常 多囊性卵巢

    AMH代表卵的數量,不代表品質

    但AMH僅代表卵的數目多少,並不代表品質,卵的品質是跟年紀有關係。

    例如若AMH值很低,但患者年輕卵子品質好,即使卵子數量少還是有機會懷孕;年紀大則卵的品質就可能比較差了,即使AMH值不錯,但懷孕率還是會受到影響!

    卵子的品質跟年齡的關聯 – 白頭髮理論

    凍卵-

    意旨於母體取出健康卵子,給予冷凍阻止細胞衰老,並進行超低溫冷凍後,於凍卵之醫療機構管理,等想要生小孩的時候,取出冷凍卵子解凍使用即可。玻璃化冷凍卵子是進行超低溫冷凍,在短時間內迅速降至-196度,卵子是人體最大的細胞,含有大量的水分在低溫下能夠進入「冬眠」,使細胞的所有代謝活動停止,並降低冰晶所造成的傷害。
